SCAM Called to tell me my internet was slow and they would fix it. They tried to send me to a website to fix it but when I asked if I could have a number to call them back to make sure they were legit they hung up. They then called back to ask when was a convenient time to call me and I restated I wanted to call them and they hung up again. The second time the call came from 01483828426.

Fraud. This number left half a automated message on my answerphone saying 'An unauthorised payment from your card was made 15 minutes ago to a foreign country. To stop all future transaction please press....' At that point the call ended. Clearly a scam and number blocked.

Automated Scottish female voice left a message quoting a reference number and telephone number to call back. The company was called Zinc, which I m assuming is a debt collection company or someone attempting to steal my personal information, seeing as I have no debt.

Who in their right mind would do business or give bank details over the phone, and to a unknown voice at an office or house with no address? You don t know these people, you don t know their location, you don t know their reputation, you don t even know what country they are ringing from!This is just telephone SPAM. Automated call claiming to be from HMRC stating they were taking out a legal claim against me and to press 1 to find out my case agent.
Call centre Fraud, purporting to be from Sky regarding my internet connection, this time it was a sweet talking Asian girl who quite obviously hadn't been speaking English for too long, I interrupted her just a few words into her script and politely advised her that her English was not clear enough to be taken for a genuine Sky customer service adviser, where upon she said softly, OK Mr, and needless to say ended up feeling sorry for her.
