PPI. They said it was called HELP YOUR CLAIM. I asked to speak to the manager and told them that my phone was registered to not receive cold calls, and asked them where they got my number from. They asked for my email address so they could let me know where they obtained my number from. I refused to give it, as next thing they will be sending me emails too. This number called twice. Thanks to all on this site - I ignored both calls. As a personal policy, I don t answer calls on my mobile, cos I only give it out to family.....and in any case I only use it for texting.

Called my land line claiming to be microsoft. Not english accent. Asking me to put my computer on.

This lot are getting on my frigging nerves!!! Told them never had ppi and to take me off their data base!! Do they???? No they call me from a different number!!! HELP !!!!

My brother got a call from this number asking for a gas meter reading. He was not sure where the caller was from but a 1471 and internet search brought up this number as belonging to British Gas. However I am not with British Gas but with Southern Electric, for at least the last 6 years. I called Southern Electric who said they did not call for any reading and would not do so. They estimate readings and send someone over to check for themselves. Southern Electric have made a note of this number. I advis

Scam pretending to be BT Open Reach. They say you have a problem with your internet connection in some way. Most likely they will hack your PC / install a virus / basically remote criminal damage. Do not follow instructions as it will likely cost you

Threatening tax evasion scam call

The caller was a man with a foreign accent. He started to tell me he was calling about my computer but I decided it was a scam, told him I wasn t interested, hung up and blocked the number. I do not generally answer numbers that I do not recognise but as it was 08.30, I thought it could be somthing important.

I got a missed call from this number. Don't have the credit to call back they didn't leave a message.

Call claiming that their records showed someone at my address had worked in a noisy environment.
