This number has called me several times in the last few days, no messages left for the missed calls and no one speaks when I do pick it up. One to be blocked!

Missed the call, anyway, before seeing these comments. "Looks like a premium rate number" Sorry, but you re mistaken. 01, 02, 03 are all classed as national rate calls (apart from Channel Islands, Isle of Man) and 03xxx are business numbers. 0845 and 0870 numbers very widely being changed to 0345 and 0370 numbers so they are included in most calls packages (including from mobiles). Only 1899.com and 18185 (cheap call services when dialling using those prefixes before a number) are not including 03x

Guy introduce himself saying he was contacting me as i was on a list to receive a refund due to bank charges. He asked me lots of questions about who ive had loans from and who ive had credit cards with. Same as above called saying someone had tried to hack computer - vibe felt really wrong asked for computer details. I didn t progress any further with call.

Got a call around 16:30 - sounded like a call centre - gent with a strong Indian accent said he was calljng from Ringwood Council in Hampshire - I live in Dorset! Said something about an accident in the last two years - scam call - I hung up

Answered the phone and whoever was on other end just hung up!! Can't block it on my mobile BUT won't answer a call from this number again as it's listed under NUI...

I think this organisation is trying to get people to sign up to let them pursue PPI claims and the like. They hung up when I asked them for their number so that I could pursue a claim with the TPS. 1471 came in handy.
