On picking up phone there was a slight delay and an automated message came on saying extension 201 was not available. Blocked call immediately.
Some foreign bloke calling himself Steve from BT. Said engineers were in the area as there was a problem with my land line. Tod him if there was, they could call in. I ended the call. and blocked the number...SCAM !

Silent call for over minute.
Gentleman spoke little English said he was calling about my last insurance. Did I understand with Covid there had been a lot of changes to review and asked me who that insurance was with Aviva direct line etc and was going to ask me for security details. I asked him what insurance he was referring to house car pet etc and he said he didn’t know his system didn’t provide that information so I stated I didn’t think he was a genuine caller and he hung up!!
They must have a crystal ball to know you've had a motor accident before it's even happened!
Rang for 1 ring then hung up on me.

I found a missed call and a message from this number. It was a foreign call centre and they sale apparently insurances. Not sure. I don t think that I ll call back because they didn t say their name.

Was trying also different formats of this number, but no luck. On the other hand I am not the only one searching for this number as can be seen from different pages... Does anyone know who might be calling?
They said they were national insurance and my account had fraudulent activity on the border of wales. I think its a scam.

This number telephoned me 6 times yesterday between 10.12 and 13.35. Last Friday they used the number 01503560670 and telephoned 5 times between 10.14 and 18.10. The latter was after I told them I had reported them to the real telephone preference service
