"Microsoft" scam, claims she's from Microsoft and there's a problem with my computer and wants to take over my computer to put it right (she must of thought was born yesterday!) so played along with her for a few minutes before calling her a scammer and that there is nothing wrong with my computer. She obviously wasn't happy but she kept the scam going so I kept winding her up making her more annoyed. Recorded message received today, 11 Oct. 2012. Started "Do not hang up" and claimed to be a Public Information message about a Government scheme to "write off 100 per cent of your debt" by next year. Already beneath contempt, this outfit is using a premium rate number (if I m not mistaken) - and as I am the first to mention this number on this site, we can all look forward to a lot more of it.
