Got a call from this number claiming to be from Microsoft. Sounded dodgy with a fake accent. Just googled and found out this. Thanks and I did hang up too!

This number has rung all day long. When I did answer, a man said he was from the Telephone preference service, and said they could give me help with unwanted calls. Hung up.

Call every hour from 7am till 12am, 7 days a week...!! Bloody annoying idiots...!!

Rang offering 3 months free extra accidental injury cover before paying for Bronze, Silver or Gold policy extension. Had my birthdate. Offered to set this up on the phone,..told him to send me the info in the post and I d think about it. Sounded OK but not 100% sure.

The lady claimed to be from Amazon doing a survey - I don't have an Amazon account, and I never use them, so I'm guessing it was a scam - I've blocked the number.

This organisation is not permitted to do what it does. The scheme that it refers to is " It will be the LA’s responsibility to make sure the criteria chosen allow them to identify eligible households. The criteria used by an LA will not be audited however Ofgem will check whether the SoI includes a section describing the methodology to be used in identifying eligible households. One day caller claimed to be from lloyds another day from halifax and another day from santander all from the same number told them same story that i never owned their bank but keep asking to confirm few details so told them to bugger off and blocked their number since they keep calling everyday
