The cal was not important and we will try again later. Goodbye" A Google search for Media Match shows a US firm with this name, but on websites similar to this one they claim that they do not cold-call and that their name is being mis-used. Sounded like a recorded call purporting to be from Mastercard about a security issue about a £600 charge this morning. Well, Mastercard would not call - my card provider would do so. I banged down the phone, but to be regarded as dangerous. Beware.

The call was diverted, and the lady was Asian with a very heavy accent. She said she was calling from Microsoft Technical Department.
SCAM: Received a scam text message claiming to be from the DPD. Message claimed they had missed a delivery and asked me to click a phishing link to schedule a redelivery. I am not expecting any deliveries from the DPD. Blocked the number immediately.
I have just received a phone call on my home phone from this number. a voice (American i think) informed me they were from Amazon and that my payment of £39.99 would be taken . If I wanted to stop payment I would have to press a number on my phione keypad. I disconnected immediately and looked up the number on Google and came to this site.
