They called me and knew my name and address. Wanted to confirm this was me saying they wanted to send me a former for a tax over payment. They said they were HMRC and as they already had my detail and even pronounced my name right which surveys calls never do, I said send me the firm. Still not arrived. If HMRC it would come quickly and in their official brown envelop. Sceptical.

Called my landline on 5/June/20. English woman, apparently in a call centre. They had my name (I didn't confirm) and claimed to be from BT-Openreach, although I don't get my service from BT. Strike 1 She then claimed I was with Zen Internet (I'm not). Strike 2 I declined to give the name of my service provider and asked what she was after. She hung up. Looked dodgy to me.

They said please confirm your Sky ID & Security details.... I said you are not Sky this is a dodgy call. then they hanged up. 15 minutes later they called back. same person and same story. DO NOT GET THEM ANY INFORMATION.
