According to UoB website this number shouldn't be calling for student fundraising so this is likely a scam. "Our Student Fundraisers will call you from 0121 678 1000, but please note that this number is outgoing only. If you receive a call from a Student Fundraiser, they will be able to send you a verification email while you are on the phone to them. This email will come from [email protected] – a University domain email account."

A man asking for semi permanent make-up, would not give me his address for me to send him a patch test! Then wanted to book a whole day with me for a full works of pampering! The semi permanent make-up, and hair cut but then went on to say he wanted his hair coloured and teeth whitening! His messages were weird so I googled his number to find other complaints about him! SCAM Must be a scam this number randomly called me today. Automated voice saying it was HM revenue & customs claiming that there was a fraud case in my name that I needed to press 1 to speak to the officer on the case. That if I didn't sort it then I'd be arrested shortly. Load of bollacks if you ask me didn't bother pressing 1 & hung up straight away soon as the automated voice got out what it was obviously programmed to say. This was about a competition I had supposedly entered over the phone (I hadn't) and was asking for further details
I do not know who they are. All I know is that it is from the centre of Chichester. They do not even leave a text so that I would at least know who is attempting to get hold of me!!! It may be quite innocent, but until I know who is calling as unknown, it is a nuisance. Why should we have to put up with this rubbish, the caller would not like it if this happened to them. I will not call them back incase it is a scam.
