BEWARE - scammer. 2nd identical call today. A male with an Indian accent told me his name was Winston and he was calling from BT. I asked him what my BT account number is, but he did not answer and said he was calling because of a problem with my router / browser. The number was falsified - when I tried calling it back, it did not connect.

Asked about washing machine warrenty as about to run out! i asked who the company was as im insured with another company hung up.remember should you fall for this bank details will be asked for then your stuffed.....you have been warned.

SCAM. Logged as a scam because hung up quick and did not leave message. I get several calls like this and they are all from the same area in Manchester. Too risky to get involved!

Female, Asian accent. Stated name was Crystal. Calling from BT(?) The internet connection to the property would be cut-off in 48 hours unless a PC procedure was followed as per instructions. The reason given - Cyber criminals were using an open port on a PC to distribute malware. Upon stating I thought Firewall protected the PC from such abuse, the call was dropped. I'm presuming this is a scam with intent to gain access to BT account info & PC data.

Do not give them you details not your name address d.o.b job/occupation or bank info! as they will rob you! nuisance keep caling and texting!
