Ring at all hours, always silence on the other end of the phone or hang up after a few rings. Its a premium number so I guess they are looking for people to call them back so that they can make money. Extremely persistent and annoying.

It's a scam offering a discount card for all major supermarkets and once you give your age group they told me I was also eligible for free return flight tickets and a week in a European villa. Catch - needed my 16 digit credit/Debit card number to place a penny charge to authenticate who I was. Needless to say I did not provide.

I got a call from this number regarding PPI. I told the caller I wasnt interested & put the phone down. He then RANG ME BACK & demanded to know why Id hung up on him when I hadnt heard what he had to say. I told him I still wasnt interested but he persisted so I just kept saying ovet & over Im not interested until he lost his temper & hung up. Victory for me!!!

I do not know who they are. All I know is that it is from the centre of Chichester. They do not even leave a text so that I would at least know who is attempting to get hold of me!!! Are based in Scotland with no known office in 01305 exchange area. Have calls from Scotland re-routed through local exchange numbers in order to persuade people to answer a local number. If you call it back, then the call is again re-routed back to their Scotland office. Not sure if this is an illegal practice under telephony legislation, but would be interested if anyone can come up with the legislation about having calls re-routed to give the answering CLI the impression that the call is local.
