This number rang just as I was about to have my lunch. It was "Dave" from Windows so I cut him off. Immediately he rang again so again I cut him off. He rang a third time and I told him that I had cut him off twice and there was nothing wrong with my Computer and told him to stop ringing me. I cut him off again.

SCAM I'm a Spanish resident living in Spain. I got several calls from this and another related number. A woman with Asian accent speaking not very good English claiming to be calling from Microsoft (first in California, then in the UK) told me there was a security issue in my computer and I needed to turn it on to follow her instructions. She passed the phone to a native English speaker when I said I couldn't understand. None of them sounded very professional at all and, in fact, the man insulted me.

Now using 0161 850 1033 same story,they and others pressurisng my wife to make a claim following a minor car accident 2 years ago. I grabbed the phone and told them to drop it I would be taking action. Reported to ICO.org.uk and blocked the number. this Indian woman rang me and for over three minutes told me that she was ringing to prevent any nuisance calls to my number in the future. I told her she was being a nuisance.... and she kept telling me that she was from the anti nuisance call line of the UK... that was the extent of the conversation. SCAM Said they were BT, and our line was about to be cut off. So, not neutral folks, it's a scam. They can cut our BT landline if they want. We're in Hull on Kingston Telecom, so no BT landlines here. Their office location is said to be in London, on or close to Trafalgar Sq. ... so very close, the Met could pick them up. But somehow doubt that will happen.
