They asked for an entry fee to get our bank card number, took the entry fee then 3 days later took more money. RECEIVED A SILENT PHONE CALL THIS MORNING 23 OCT 2019 - WANTED TO REPORT IT TO BT BUT HAD TO FIND OUT IF IT WAS A SCAM PHONE CALL FIRST. OTHERWISE I COULD BE PREVENTING GENUINE CALLERS FROM USING THEIR PHONES. AFTER CHECKING ON LINE THE PHONE NUMBERS THAT I DO NOT RECOGNISE OR THOSE I HAVE ANSWERED AND FINDING OTHER REPORTS ON LINE I HAVE REPORTED THESE TO BT TO HAVE THEM STOPPED. BT HAVE A HELP LINE ON THEIR WEBSITE AND AT THE END OF THE LIST IS A SECTION FOR SCAM CALLS. I CANNOT REPORT THIS NUMBER AS

I have been asked to call this number by an Asian man who claims to be from the London police, he claims that I have not responded to a summons regarding an alleged act of fraud. The number is alleged to be a Mr.Jake Coles who is a representative of solicitors, who can give me details of the alleged fraud case. I suspect this to be some sort of scam as I have never commited any fraud, in any case I believe that the local police would be involved if there were some sort of ligitamate problem.
I was called from this number and the caller was very insistent / pushy about the fact that I MUST be owed PPI compensation otherwise they would not be calling. They required bank / credit card details and when I said I had already received compensation from my bank, the call was terminated by them without explanation.

Someone called insisting to talk to the boss (they already knew his name, which is not difficult if you check companies house). They said they cannot even send an email with their name as it's confidential. It's about shareholding or whatever. I think they have been sending us mail as well.
Just had these parasites call me again but actually got to shout at one of their unemployable idiots this time. Usual "you are due PPI refund" crap so told him to jog on (well in more colourful Anglo-Saxon. I know it wont stop the mugs calling but it made me feel better.
