This number called me unexpectedly today, I had not been in contact with this company before. I picked up and said Hello? several times and no one talked. In the background, there was a lot of noise from what sounded like a call centre. Definitely marketing call or likewise.

When I answered the call a man said he was calling from a security company which installed alarms etc - I said I was not interested and he said ok and I switched off phone. It was to my mobile number which I have only given to friends and family - cannot understand how I am now getting calls on this phone mainly from phones which appear to be in the North of England. Not sure, but seemed to want all my ID details to confirm the refund I was to receive in couple of days, and was vague about who was calling, claimed to be some sort of Financial Authority. Number is Manchester area, and with all due respect to friends in Manchester, apart from Blackburn Lancashire, a call centre dialled call from Manchester rings more alarm bells than phone bells.

Automated call - Didn't answer, then got a 5s voicemail of a Liverpool accent (phone had auto-identified dialling code as Liverpool) saying "ah right, OK, well we'll take you off our list then". I suspect this was an automated response after my voicemail "answered" to say not available, leave your message etc. and voicemail recorded tail end of the response. Crafty.
Rang me a few minutes ago on my mobile offering me 5 euro millions tickets for free if i completed a survey/questionnaire, i said no thankyou and that was that. But this is definitely a scam.
I received a call from this number but, when answered, there was no one there. When I redialed, I found it was unobtainable. I am presuming it was a PPi/accident claim line type nuisance call
