Received a call at 14.27 p.m. from Barclays/Barclaycard saying that two transactions had been made this morning. One for £2000.- and another one for £700.-plus. If I agree to this transaction press one, if I want to speak to someone press two. I pressed two. Then there was a pause and after a while the person with an American accent said good buy.

Sales call - said they were from my mobile provider Three, hung up when I told them I was not with Three!
Comes up as suspected spam. Guy with an Indian accent said he was calling from a South African call centre on a Manchester landline! Claims he works for a company called UK Tariff that finds out if you're paying too much for your broadband or finds better deals. Thing is this so called company harasses with calls like 24/7 from different numbers most of the day. Hoping you're gullible enough to get to the part where you hand over your bank details. Best way is to report and block if it flags as spam.

Difficult to hold a sensible conversation, transpired person wanted to make a case for selling wall and roof insulation. Number showed as missed call and a blank voicemail was left for me - upon returning the call, the number apparently doesn't exist? I suspect its some spam mobile used for outgoing calls, that doesn't accept incoming calls.

Left a message on my answer phone which was difficult to understand but appeared to be about an address for parcel delivery. They never said who they were or asked if I was the person they were trying to contact and further investigation showed that calls to this number cost 16p a minute from a landline plus a setup fee of 23p.
