Mine is from F1 magazine trying to get me to take out a subscription, I did fill in something on facebook and now I am rang every day at the same time.
This number rang me this afternoon. It was obviously a recorded message. The message said that there was two unusual transactions on my bank account this morning, one for £300-00 and another for £3000-00. The womans voice on the phone message then asked if I wanted to query the transactions and to press button 1 to reject and button 2 to talk to someone. There was no mention of my name or my bank or account. Being aware early on in this call that it was a scam I put the phone down. So beware everyone!

Really annoying silent phone call to my mobile. If someone has misdialed then at least apologise and then hang up, don’t leave it open for 5-8 seconds on a silent call then cut it off. Not even a mobile number which they usually are.

SCAM Three phone calls in four hours from someone who claimed to be from Amazon, saying an i.pad was waiting for me if I hadn't ordered it press number 1 to speak with his supervisor who take loads of details and stop it being sent, please don't hesitate to hang up. The call was automated Glaswegian female voice saying "You have been contacted by (inaudible name), please call back immediately on 01413536463" the line went dead immediately. I decided to research number online as we do not have our number published in phone books. Various comments on forums suggest they are a debt collection agency called Zinc. We owe no debts and have great credit rating, so this call seems very strange! I won t be calling back either!

Someone from this number called me tonight - why do they think it s acceptable to call at meal times? or any time when I have not asked them to. Potential scam. There was a recorded message supposedely from my internet service provider (although it didn't say which ISP they were calling on behalf), saying that our internet service would be disconnected in 4 hours due to 'Router Malfunction'. Our router is working fine. I suspect this is a 'Technical Support Scam', where we would be expected to pay for fixing something that isn't broke.
