SCAM Automated Call "We are about to deduct funds from my account on behalf of Amazon Prime" and wanted me to press [1] to speak to a supervisor. Obviously a scam I don't have an Amazon prime account and avoid anything to do with them.
They had the cheek to call me again - when I was busy of course - with their wretched recorded message saying it was not too late. I think they can be prosecuted for this harassment and dishonesty, pretending people have claims when they know nothing about whether they have or not, and be heavily fined. Very dangerous. Auto message claiming to be bank fraud office and advising 3 suspect transactions. Asked to press 1 if ok, 3 if not. Did not even give name of the bank! Red flag that auto - they always talk to you in person - they would also want to check that it was actually the custoner talking to! Another red flag re instruction go press button.
Call from this number and a man saying he was ringing about the loft insulation we discussed. When I said it wasn’t us he just hung up. Rude and ignorant.
