They said they are calling from 3 mobile for an upgrade. I called three to verify this and confirmed a scam call.
I called them back, found out it was an unsolicited call from an estate agent, I have recently sold my hose and just made an offer on another; I guess this scum got my number from my dealings with others, have now bloked this number.

Some pest on this number called my (pensioner) mother to ask to "call today to see if anything s wrong with the house". Sounded very suspicious to me, like if this con artist was let in the house, he/she would find lots of non-existent faults that d cost a fortune to fix. I got a 'eBay' code (allegedly) from this number. To those people who are saying this number is genuine, what made them go on to this website? If I get a genuine text, I don't then search that number on the internet and then make a comment on a site that deals with dodgy phone numbers.
