Sounded very suspicious to me, like if this con artist was let in the house, he/she would find lots of non-existent faults that d cost a fortune to fix. I would never trust a cold caller doing a random check. This number should be blocked from calling. Why are people getting so many cold calls? Can t these people be found USEFUL EMPLOYMENT?

  	1202084085	Female claiming to be the assigned Local Energy Advisor for my postcode. Initially avoided the question about the company but said ATR when asked again. ATR had "taken over from the previous government scheme", according to their records we were the registered owners of the property. Hung up immediately when I replied that their records should also show that we were registered with the TPS.

He then called back again, with a pathetic story about spilling coffee over himself. 10/10 for inventiveness. But he couldn t help himself and hung up again. Will report this company to the TPS.
  	1202084085	We have been advised by one of our neighbours that they received a Cold-Call yesterday morning by man who said he was from a "Home Improvements" firm and said that they were in the HR1 area and saw "on their database" that the neighbour had "the old-fashioned fiberglass insulation". At that point, the neighbour said their usual "no thanks, goodbye!" and hung up. The neighbour checked afterwards to see what the number was (they don t have a Caller ID Display phone).
