Unknown call, left no voice message.
Robin called. Sounded foreign. Said he was calling from the call blocking and scam department. When I asked what company he was calling from he said "the national call blocking company limited" i said there was no such thing. Curious how this was 24 hours after "microsoft" called me and I told them I didn't believe them..... Told him the only legit call blocking was The Telephone Preference Service, and he hung up.
Company called SCORE, they trade as THE CLAIM GUYS, they are a PPI reclaim company that advertise as "non pushy way to check to see if you have a PPI claim", but they will call up to 8 times a day!!!

This number has been spoofed so that it appears as the CLI of the caller when it has no relationship to the people originating the call. This number was assigned to a legitimate business in Surrey. They have now changed their number. The spoofing still carries on and people are getting missed call messages with this number on their mobiles and landlines. Calls every day around 8am - luckily I have my phone on mute at this time. Message left says they?re calling from Lloyds Banking Group (Lloyds/Halifax/BoS/MBNA/Sainsbury?s Bank etc.). I?ve never banked with any of these outfits so best guess is scam.
Claimed to be from Vodafone. However Vodafone don't have this number listed on their Website as an official number. I'd suggest hanging up.

SCAM - Don't answer they will fleece you for every penny you have earned. They are not very nice people and may even drop litter in the street or even spit.....which is not very nice at all.

Having received two missed calls I decided to call back. It's just O2 checking if I wanted to upgrade, and the person I got through to was quite polite.
Called and hung up; called it back as I have business with someone in bracknell - an automated voice says calls may be recorded; it rings for 10s then plays another message to record a message. Probably a scam

AMAZON ‘Julie’ rang my landline and said she was from Amazon Security. An attempt had been made to purchase an iphone using my account at nearly £700. Said it was an emergency that I check my emails while she waited. Said I would phone Amazon Security once I had checked. Caller became more insistent and said we have to block them as an emergency to stop the purchase. Said I would phone my bank to prevent payment. She said bank wouldn’t be able to put a ‘stop’ only Amazon security. Caller hung up.
Anonymous phone call did not answer it.

SCAM An automated voce tells you they are your Internet Service provider, that illegal activity has been noticed on your account and it will be terminated in 24 hours unless you speak to their executive. A common scam but they are persistent and will call constantly. Ignore them and hang up.

They called at 13.58 on Friday 12th June, 2020. A Fllipino sounding young man. Asked me questions about mortgage and life insurance. He was polite, and reassured me that he wasn't selling anything. The survey lasted only about 90 seconds. Probably he will pass my data to some marketing firm and they will then perhaps try to sell me something, which of course I'll refuse. I don't normally speak with cold callers like this, when the start of the call shows they're in a call centre in Cebu or somewhere. He go
