Internet Female, sub-continent accent, purporting to be from BT: Unauthorized access has been gained to your router without password or authentication. "Switch on your computer!" On declining to do so, threatens to cut off internet for 14 days!
A female voice, who did not identify herself said that she wanted to speak to the home owner. I told her to ring my landlord. She then rang off. She did not use her name or my name, a typical SCAM attempt which failed as I went off script.

It seems as though this could be a nuisance caller. My husband and I have both had calls from this number today, on our mobiles, while on holiday in France. It's slightly worrying, as we have many friends and relatives in the Manchester area. Our phones silence any unknown numbers but as no voicemail messages were left we are assuming the calls weren't important.

I was called by this number today, the automated message told me my amazon prime account had expired and that my credit card would be charged £95 pounds for renewal, if I was unhappy about this, press 1. Sadly for them, (lucky for me) I don't have an amazon prime account, hung up imediately. Some indian guy claiming to be from a quality center clqiming that I had registered at some trading platform. I was absolutely sure I hadn't registered on the site by mistake as all my information was there. Funny enough he could not give me the date of my supposed registration! LoL When he noticed he did not get anywhere with me, he abruptly hung up. Quite a rude chap if he really intended quality and customer satisfaction. My guess: part of the ongoing scams on Internet

SCAM This is a text from a scammer who's taking advantage of the legit cost of living payments. It says it's from the gov. website and asks you to click a link to add your bank account details so that they can deposit the amount in your bank, so beware! Anyone who is entitled to any DWP money will automatically have it deposited into their bank account and upon researching this, I was told that DWP will NEVER text or ring you to inform you of your entitlements or ask for any details.
SCAM - Tried claiming they were Lloyds Banking and that there was suspicious activity saying large amounts of money was attempted to be charged to my account.
