Was obviously working through a phone book since they asked for the ex village hall secretary by name - the number had been listed as a personal number in error. Our number is registered with telephone preference service to stop wasting our time and money
TAX Automated call advising they were HMRC and that I was involved in a tax fraud allegation by them. Told to press 1 to speak to HMRC. Told if I did not, a warrant would be issued for my arrest which would happen imminently!
Dodgy scam sounding call asking To talk to me about “loft insulation I’d recently had installed”. I asked him to tell me my name and he hung up.

SCAM recorded message saying from my Bank that 2 amounts in my bank account and to call them by pressing certain numbers etc!!! Didn’t of course and put the phone down. I only answered as it was from my area, Oxford! They have tried before about 6 months ago. Be careful.

Numerous calls from this number. also from 01818894557. I attempted to call back both these numbers but numbers do not exist. I got so fed up I played along with him for 15 mins - he wanted to take control of my PC in order to fix (non existent) problems with my router. What he would have done is anybody s guess, but I assume it would not be to my advantage and probably would have cost me money !
Received a text today from 07520619511 about a labourers job required by CLS and giving a landline number for CLS to apply. I am a 68 yr old woman and not in the market for employment let alone a labourer. The text was sent by mobile 07520619511 which when checked on this site is a SCAM number
Asian female claiming to be from Telephone Preference Management saying my subscription expires tomorrow and I will therefore start getting nuisance cold calls and needing to speak the personal who pays the bill. SCAM - pretending to be from BT - about my internet speed. BT is not my ISP, but call using a local Derby number told me that BT is the parent company of all Interned and Broadband services, not true! Trying to force me to check my speed when I can check it through my own ISP. Wouldn't take no for an answer, told him I am going to call BBC Scammers and he hung up.
pestering calls from this number about solar panels called 12 times in 5 hours cold calls will not go.

They called me and stated that a criminal offense has been registered in your name as you were caught in tax evasion. They also claim to be from the HMRC. Don't worry they are just scammers. The person said we'll take legal action against you. I told him to do whatever you want and he quit the phone call immediately
