got automated voice telling me of £300 amazon charge and £1100 overseas transaction - from 'bank security? Pressed 2 to 'speak' to the bank (to give them a taste of their own medicine)., and just a random guy picks up the phone - think i got him out of his bed??? Strange! They rang 2-4-23. Guy American accent sounded like radio phone (clever) said HE was from My Heritage . Offered me a"Deal" nearly£200 on 2 subs that were nearly due! If I lumped them together! I CAME OUT with all the jargon that's available if u check threads on my Family tree! CLEVER? DUH! By the time he was getting desperate it was down to £85! NO
This number was used by a male purporting to be from the Halifax building society querying a £900 transaction (false) wishing to use her keypad to enter login details. On my intrusion the line went dead and became inactive

Fraud. Will firstly state on an automated voice it’s from HM revenue and they’re going to take action against you. Press 1 to speak to an officer etc.. foreign guy picks up asking how he can help, state they called me? And then they hang up. Absolutely fraud!

SCAM Called to offer an iPhone deal and when challenged reduced price by a third and then when I told them what I was paying reduced price to less than a third of the original price including a new phone and air time etc. Too good to be true or just a scam. Caller became abusive when told I didn't trust him
This person scammed me - had a one off lesson, said they'd pay but then proceeded to ignore my texts and ghost me. Not only did they not pay for the lesson, they also didn't return the books if lent them. Don't not trust them
