I was texted out of the blue with this message: "Hi mum, I'm texting you from a friend's phone because mine got broken. Their phone is running out of battery. text/call me on my new number +447359548195". I believe it's a scam as no one I knew messaged me this.
Safe number noticed this number once every month on my telephone bill with a monthly charge of 14p. Turns out it is an automatic test call from PPP Taking Care alarm which we have for elderly mother. Called them to ask why we are being charged as we pay a quarterly handling charge. They very kindly switched this to a freephone number so no more charges.
This person is blackmailing.
Received on my mobile twice in quick succession. Number unknown to me, so did not answer. No voicemail left so assume this was a sales/spam call. similar number 07711271806 tried again today. According to map location both calls originated from the same place, a few miles South East of Great Mitton. Number originates from O2 system.
Automated message when you pick up that says ive avoided tax of some sort and that I need to press 1 to speak to someone to avoid it going to court. After pressing 1 it just goes silent and when you call it back it just says persons phone is switched off. Im based in Wales and call is from Manchester so will assume its a scam

Called to offer me a iPhone 14 Pro Max & Samsung, didn’t get the model. Then asked for what phone I had. The woman had a very strong Indian accent so I had you keep asking her to repeat what she was saying. Eventually she gave up.
Number came up on my phone as "Jack the box" (not promising, but also means they've listed themselves as a company I believe). Offering a competitive rate on my bushes electricity. I didn't believe him but told him he could email me the offer and I'd review it. He called back briefly afterwards to ask my name (which he spelt so wrong that I didn't correct it!) Appears to be via a phone app generating scam numbers - I can't believe a decorators in Birkenhead would be sending out dozens of daily phone calls! Didn't ring for long, and didn't leave a message either.
Call center - someone claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse. They said they had an offer and when I said I'm not interested, they wanted information about my current phone deal. I hung up.

I received a text from this number which is most likely phishing. The text was written in Swedish (I live in Sweden) and stated that I had an unpaid parking debt and provided a link - which I didn't follow. The link was "http://Inbq.link/ZYSDt8" I have no parking debts so can only presume that the link led to a site asking for my bank details.
Call centre sounds in background. Thick Asian accent introduced call as UK Health Survey. Clearly a scam so hung up
