Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 1617685xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with PPI, life insurance - insurance marketing. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). People did they call you with the same or something new?
I received a call on the 23rd from this number claiming to be from Natwest Fraud team, he knew all of my details and appeared to be genuine. I'm usually very careful about my security but I had a momentary lapse of concentration. I spoke to my bank in branch today who cancelled my card and my banking app. I was told that the person who I was speaking to earlier was very likely to be the scammer himself. I'm so f'ing angry!! Do not answer this bastard's number. Ever!

I got called by this number at 18:07. The line was silent and when I hung up it called again. A quick search suggested it was Barclays Bank. An odd time of day for a bank to call! I contacted Barclays via their app for a live text chat. The operator assured me it was a Barclays number and not a scam. I received a call from a man who himself as an employee of Consumer Helpline - spent Reactive Media. Supposedly I would have paid a lot of money, which would be paid back to me now. I asked him to whom exactly I should have paid the money and just hung up.

This person identifies himself as Thomas from Adobe and had has been placing calls over and over to us to the point of harassment. He has been told that we will not put his call through to the person he wishes to speak to as they dont want his call. He tries to intimidate his way through and then sits mimicking me down the phone line. He leaves the call connected so nobody else can call our number. The number 0203 655 7035 has connections to India and this is an Indian guy speaking.

I have just had an accident and am waiting for the insurance company legal eagles to call me, I asked him 5 times what does my report say, he kept going on, 1st from the accident management company then the motor insurers bureau but still couldn't answer my question, no way are they going to take any money from my compensation, I put the phone down, so very aggrevating when I do have one about to start.
