SCAM Said they were O2. Very convincing. Sent an OTP, like a fool, I gave it to them. By the time their call ended, and I got through to O2 (max 10 minutes), they’d already changed my email and postal addresses. O2 tell me the only time they will ask for the OTP is when a customer calls them. Looks like I stopped them in time, all details now changed, and security info changed, but be careful people. Received a call today from National Appliance Cover saying I had policy with them, taken out on their Join now pay later scheme. I have never agreed to having washing machine cover so know nothing of the policy. The caller said she was a policy advisor, I am eligible for a discount as I haven't made a claim. It is now to make payment - at the discounted amount, set up direct debit - not discounted, or cancel and pay a cancellation fee. I have never wanted the cover so why should I pay to cancel.

Fraud This number is being used by a man called George Johnston (aka Paul) of 129 Queensway, West Wickham, BR4 9DT. One of his fraudulent companies is The Door Company but he also pretends to be a locksmith. He visits, gives a quote, asks for a deposit and then makes lame excuses why he can't get there to complete the job. He is playing a dangerous game with people's livelihood.
