Took several seconds to connect and there were call centre noises in the background. Told me I'd receive details of a claim through the post in the next 2 days, which is nonsense, as I haven't made any claims. Told them I subscribed to the TPS and for them to remove me from their list, for all the good it'll do!

According to this site this number is from Easingwold, Yorkshire, in the UK. I do not know anyone in this area and they did not leave a message, so presume its a scam type call and classed it as annoying. If callers are not prepared to leave a message and just drop a call after a few rings it seems to me that the caller wants you to ring them back and who knows what that might lead to.
