SCAM this is an automated call, advising you there’s some kind of tax fraud in your name, so I just hung up and blocked the number.

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 19167122xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with FIRST ASSIST - car accident claims, insurance marketing, PPI. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new?

Reported as a profiling call on other sites which determines if a person answers then flags them for more telemarketing calls

01794399253 called my landline on Thursday 13 July and a recorded message advised me that money had been transferred from my account and to key 1 to sort it. 01794 is a Romsey UK number as is my number so I assumed it was local. I did not continue with the call. It was the same as other messages that I have received recently mentioned Amazon. How do scammers phone from local numbers?

This company called saying that they were aware ny pension had been frozen. (I left work in May 2015 due to ill health...I'm 38) they had no info about my pension and kept asking me to confirm my details...which they had non of.
