Almost certainly SPAM/SCAM as it called at the usual parasites'/pests' evening time, in this case 6.30pm. There was a suspicious pause & silence (auto-dialler?) when I answered and then the call was disconnected. I then rang back the number (03300270201) and got the following recorded message (female voice, American accent): "The number you have dialled is no longer in service. SCAM - Claiming to be from Amazon to say money has been deducted from your account and they want you go go onto Google to give your details in the meantime, the caller is aggressive, telling you that you are an idiot for not doing what they want you to do. These are really unintelligent people.
Had a spate of calls over a month ago. Am ex directory and registered with TPS but still get calls. Tried various tactics ignoring, picking up phone and leaving it w/o answering....they got abusive. Calls now restarted, left to answer machine, interesting messages..may now report to police!
