SCAM. Rang back and someone with an Asian accent answered my call identifying themselves with an English first name and a surname. I asked what is the nature of the call and they said it is about some kind of TRADING. I told the Asian sounding person to pimp out their family members rather than conning people.

Hi, just had a call from an Asian bloke who said my Internet connection had wires crossed in my house and its causing a network problem. He claimed to be BT. I didn't tell him that BT don't run the network it's Open Reach. Also didn't tell him I'm not a BT customer. I ended the call.

Using a recall system it was found the number had become non-existent and was therefore no longer traceable. This would indicate that it is from a SCAM telephone number/company. Received sms pretending to be from my son saying his phone is broken & he is using his friend’s phone to contact me but that one is about to die. Gave me another number to use to contact him. I’ve spoken with my son & this is a false message.

appears to be a phishing scam, its a recorded message about credit card suspicious use with a link to follow, i didnt follow the link but did check my credit cards and no such transactions ever happened.
