SCAM A recorded message from 'Crystal at BT technical support' to tell me that they had detected that 'your security has been breached; dial 1 to speak to BT technical support. Clearly a scam of some nature, I didn't bother to dial 1 to find out what exactly.

Just had a call from them offering financial services and asking for my credit card number. I hung up on them and 2 minutes later I got a call again but this time from withheld number.
Missed a call from this number, tried to call back but didn't ring and just cut me off.
Very poor line. A caller with a strong Indian accent claimed to be calling from BT claiming that somebody had been using my internet connection without my permission. I have had various calls of this nature from other numbers recently, one of them asking for remote access to my computer. They hung up when I told them that I had recently checked the hub admin screen and had seen no evidence of misuse.

I also recieved a call supposedly from Hewlett Packard. From what I could understand from his thick Indian accent, He was calling all owners of a certain manufactured computer to warn them about some problem....asked if I was on my computer now.
