Scam call, says calling from HMRC about a tax issue and i will be prosecuted if i dont press 1 to speak to an agent. Obvious scam!
These F I s called me 3 times today, were given a chance to leave a message each time. They did not. If your call is soooooooooooooooooooooo important then simply leave a message and I will decide to call you or not. If you can t be bothered to leave a message then F O and DO NOT CALL BACK. Very forceful nature asking for our Meter Numbers etc... we don t deal with this company, they have got hold of some names & are trying to gain information by keep ringing & asking for different people! they are not clear with what they want & are just trying to confuse people.

Got a call claiming to be a person from my college...a college I have not attended for more than a year at this point, their accent didn't seem English at all and I could barely hear them, I have yet to have a call back from it since the call got dropped.
This number is USDAW Protect.
Best way to deal with these wasters is, answer the call, after a few seconds put the phone down on them, then dial 1572, follow the simple instructions and then these calls goes...

SCAM - the 3rd such similar text in as many days from different numbers. All had a link to a website that no doubt requests your bank details. In this case the email purported to be from HSBC informing me of a payment made on my card today. It had a helpful link to a site called cancel.banking-process, which funnily enough i did not click.

SCAM. Says it is from Google (but has goo.gle in the message). Clearly another scam trying to get your bank data and from the same epicente (Manchester area) where hundreds of scams are comming from. The telephone companies need holding to account for all this scamming.
SPAM. i made the mistake of signing up to some investment ting apparently and now i get calls all the time. this number is particularly bad. they refuse to stop calling and are incredibly rude. i am blocking each number they use systematically but it is very annoying. i have said i am not interested but that doesn't seem to stop them. do yourself a favour and decline and block immediately.

Don t answer any unknown numbers, they are all scams, PPI, accident claims, Passwords for your banks, phishing, and if it is too good to be true it Bloody well is don t be conned, report all of these callers get them to be prosecuted as they are illegally calling me everyone, as under the DPA, if we report them to the Information Commissioner they have been successfully prosecuted last one was fined ( ?1,350,000 ) alone company this year
