TAXES / HMRC scam. Robo caller claiming that I'm the subject to tax evasion investigations and a warrant has been issued for my arrest. Pressed a number to speak to someone with a heavy indian accent called Alfred Collins who was a tax investigator for HMRC. I laughed in his ear and hung up.
Fraud Caller claimed to have my dog when I clearly don't have a dog. Said that my number was on its collar.

My brother got a call from this number asking for a gas meter reading. He was not sure where the caller was from but a 1471 and internet search brought up this number as belonging to British Gas. However I am not with British Gas but with Southern Electric, for at least the last 6 years. I called Southern Electric who said they did not call for any reading and would not do so. I read in the press that the STAR 9500 smartphone has been found to have a factory installed trojan virus. So I disabled my STAR 9500 and moved the sim card to an old phone. A few days later the old phone reported a missed call and a text message. The message was just this number. I didn t call it back.
