Have previously had about three missed calls from this number - just picked up the latest call and they informed me that I d had a car accident at some point since July 2010 - I have never had a car accident, thank goodness. I asked them where they got this information from - they said they purchased these details from a company and had got them as I had registered the accident but hadn t claimed anything. Fraud. Located in Clithero. Reported to Clithero police but they couldn't be bothered to investigate and told me to contact the fraud squad instead. They could have caught the culprit but weren't interested.

These people have continued to hound me on my mobile number chasing a person that I do not know and despite requests to cease they continue.
Rubbish make-over/photo session (free make-over pay for photos) - "referral" by fake ppl - always ask who gave your details, if they refuse to tell or you dont recognise them HANG UP.

Probably Indian fraud callers, keep calling with various random numbers and do not seem to believe I am not the person they have on their database - which must be quite old.
They call on a regular basis, in fact twice today. Ignore or report this number if they ring you.
Telepest from abroad eventhough it appears like a Uk number.. Just dont answer then store in your phone as a pest so you know when they ring again !

Left voicemail twice saying from MHRC and was filing law suit. I called back and asked who they were, said his name was Olivier and was case officer at HMRC. Asked him where he was calling from, he said 100 Parliament Street, London. I said I doubted that. He said f**k off motherf**ker and hung up!

This is almost certainly a student from Oxford University calling as part of the annual campaign asking for donations towards their fees.
Unknown to me - not answered and no voicemail left. I remain suspicious until I know more. Very similar to known spam numbers.
Apparently I applied for life insurance, even though what I suffer from life insurance can't cover. Never ACTUALLY even googled life insurance, simply talked to my partner as he's reaching his 50s in a few years. But this guy was persistent and insisted I applied, so I asked the name of his business and he couldn't answer. Google didn't even acknowledge the number. DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR DETAILS IF YOU ANSWER BECAUSE IT WONT COME UP AS SPAM CALLER
Following up a comment that this number might be Friends of the Earth, I emailed FoE and was told the number is a fund-raising agency called Listen, used by FoE. At my request FoE has deleted my number. I suggest that anyone who keeps getting calls from this number also contacts FoE via the Contact Us form on the website, to ask for their phone details to be removed so no more calls are received.

This is a completely valid number - the only problem is that it is a generic outbound call and you will be unable to identify the specific department that called you. This is actually quite frustrating for most recepiants. The NHS will normally call again later.
