Indian chap rang asked if I was Mrs Spencer (it wasn't my surname but I didn't tell him that). He said he was from the Telephone Preference Service (LOTS of other Indian-sounding people talking in the background, sounded like a call centre). Asked if I was still receiving scam phone calls. I asked him what he wanted and he said that they could stop all these scam calls. I said "oh yes really?? and how much is that going to cost me?!!". This number should be a landline from London - I haven't found any ratings for this number somewhere else on internet - just rated as a nuisance, but no idea who is behind it... Does someone have some experience with this one? On the other hand I am not the only one searching for this number as can be seen from different pages... People does anyone know who might be calling?

As others have said, a woman with a heavy foreign accent trying to sell website design services for a .com domain name that is registered to one of my web design clients. She thought it was my domain, so I told her it wasn t and put the phone down.
Called them back - the displayed number is fictional - "The number you are calling has not been recognised". Strongly suggest that you block them.
