Safe number I received a missed call from this number but none of the 'who called me' websites had any comments and I wanted to know who had called. As the number is local to me, I took a chance and called them back, It's the Boots Opticians Appointment Booking Centre so it's quite safe. They have written to me several times as I'm due for my eye test but I just hadn't got around to making an appointment. I'm leaving this comment just to let other searchers know who called.

Claimed to be from Carphone warehouse, not convinced Carphone warehouse would employ a tele-sales person who spoke poor English though. Persisted to try to sell me an iPhone 14 even though I told him from the start I already owned one !!!! If this gentleman really was calling from Leeds and given its an obvious scam then I do worry about his right to be living in the UK.

SCAM - DO NOT RESPOND This was a recorded message saying two potentially unauthorised payments had been made on my card - one of £300 and an international payment of £1,000 - followed by the option of approving the payments or speaking to someone about them. This sounded like a scam ( there was no mention of which bank the call was from), and so it turned out to be when I checked with the bank.
This number is Bupa Dental Care support centre in Bristol . Informing you of dental products and plans. Not a spam call, just information regarding Bupa Smile Plan.

They have phoned my office number about 10 times and I haven't answered. Since my office number has voicemail it is rather surprising they haven't just left a message if they were a genuine caller. Therefore I believe these to be scammers. SCAM

Supposedly from my bank informing me my account as been compromised, and to ring this number for how to proceed. con job very dangerous.
After picking up the call, a recorded message to let us know the call is recorded played. Once over the line was dropped from their end. A call from "Go Pro services" was expected, perhaps this was a Go Pro service agent? The result of poor training perhaps?

SCAM Told me it was the royal mail and they wanted to send me an invoice for £1.55 for a packet with no postage. I asked how they got my number and they said the delivery office gave it to them. The supposed packet was in London and I am in Somerset. I called her bluff and said the delivery office did not have my number and she then hung up. They did not have an English accent.

A cold call. Caller said that I had a problem with my internet for 3 weeks and his engineers were fixing the problem. Caller did not use my name or the name of my internet provider. Caller did not answer any of my questions but carried on reading from his script. I am sure that this was some sort of SCAM attempt. On 15-02-2023 I was called, on my mobile by this (London) land line number. 020 45689768. When I replied the call got cut…. Called the number back and was connected to a voice message… Did not get the name of caller, so I called again…., but the same happened and the name pronounced was not clear to me…. It then offers 2 options to press a 2 or a 9 (the last one to ask them not to phone again…..) Obviously I did no such thing, as I “smelled a rat” . . . . . Simply blocked the number in my phone

Sales call From the one time I’ve answered. Seems to be from a company called Motoreasy selling used car warranties. Very direct over the phone trying to get you to sign up immediately. All I did was fill out a comparison form on their website, researching different cover plans, lengths and prices. Now can’t get rid of them!
