Supposedly a company called Direct Legal, claimed to want to talk to me about compensation for an accident. A quick google search reveals they are a debt collection agency based in Buckley, even though the phone number has a Glasgow area code.

Scam call claiming that I had been in an accident. Refused to confirm their identity. Have blocked the number and reported the call to the ICO.

To everyone that has lost money to these scammers I would ask you to get in touch with your local Trading Standards Officer, then apply to the Small Claims Court (it only costs £25.00 Online, which will be refunded to you.) I used to have a temporary subscription with them, which has expired and I have not renewed. They have not left me alone since and would cold-call me every week or so, trying to sell subscriptions to me, even though I explicitly told them to put me on the Do Not Call list numerous times.

Rang once answer phone was switched on but didnt leave a message, called number back just rings and rings yet another time wasting moron
