This number rang my phone, I didn’t recognise it and didn’t answer. I checked on this site and another site. On the other site there are several comments saying this number is a scammer. Sometimes they don’t answer when spoken to, and sometimes it is a person with a foreign accent wanting to talk about loft insulation.
They say they are a lead-generating company for local Edinburgh companies, offering a voucher of up to £2K towards new windows, doors and guttering. But there s nothing about them to be found online and when I asked for more information about the company to be sure I m not being scammed I got shouted at, then they brought in QA to listen (not sure if that s true or not) and we went through the whole process again where they told me that they weren t selling me anything and could take me off their list if I

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 1618142xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with pensions, PPI, claims marketing, accident chasers... Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Guys did they call you with the same or something new? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back...
