Not just this number but others are calling my Skype number twice each day around 3... I answer the phone and it goes dead... Then I try calling back... nothing. I left the country years ago so no idea who, what or where these people are from.
This is FPC or Fredpay.com. They are a collection agency who normally act on behalf of Vodafone. They ask for your name , date of birth, post code etc. to confirm your identity. Simply dont give it to them and they cant continue the conversation !

I ve just checked my phone and although I ve added this number to my reject list it shows on the log that in May they rang on the 28th - 27th (twice)- 25th - 23rd - 22nd - 21st - 16th, boring blah blah blah. At least I don t have to answer them but they don t half fill up my call log quickly. By the way the pattern of calls goes way back. Persistent if not futile. Electronic voice warned me that my TalkTalk internet would be disconected this evening and gave me the option to either press 1 to keep it or 2 to disconnect. Goodness knows what would have happened if I had pressed either number. I logged in to TalkTalk and of course there was no mention of a disconnection.

This is apparently a genuine number for FedEx but it's been hi-jacked by a 'BT' scammer using a recorded message saying they've monitored suspicious activity. I cut the call then tried to dial 1471 but the line was still engaged and I had to try a couple more times before it cleared.

started talking about a survey. i asked them to remove my number from their list. response was "why should i?". i replied saying i was fed up getting calls that i hadnt requested and that i was busy. She told me that if i was busy i shouldnt have answered my phone!!! i will be taking this further
