Silent call: When I answered the phone, the person was silent, and they ended the call.
The man with a distinctly foreign accent said that he was from a Broadband provider that uses the 4G network £25 a month for 18 months. But what put me off was as soon as he had finished his schpeel he asked without prompt for my bank details. I said I would get back to him next week when I had done some research into the company.
I was in a different room but heard a voice coming from the phone. How can they do that? The voice had gone by the time I got to the phone and I was too far away too hear what it said, but I have now blocked it as no one I know would do that.
Typical AnyDesk - scammer. DON'T let them gain control over your computer!

Other similar sites reflect that this is a scammer - between 2 other sites I looked at, calls started from this number about 4 or so hours ago and the number has been searched almost 1,000 times!
SCAM, called from a different number first saying he is calling from curry’s pc world and offering mobile phone upgrade at very cheap price. I suspected fraud, so asked for the company details so I can check and call back . Was given this number. When I called ,instead of going through switch board options, someone answered straight away saying “ curry’s mobile phone company, how can I help?” I knew straight away it was a scam, a few fraudsters working together pretending to be a company.

Call center / SCAM Initially received a strange call supposedly from a call centre in Laos saying they were calling on behalf of Accenture Recruitment UK. I was then contacted by this number via WhatsApp & they have been relentlessly trying to get me join a part time job opportunity to make extra income with very little effort for a company called 'Dynatrace' even though I have repeatedly said that I am not interested. Said they were Mcafee support, handling issue relating to our home "network" which would mean all devices using network (he meant router) would shortly become infected and stop working. Wanted £200 to fix, as our Mcafee didn't cover "network". Said we'd call back and given this number. Subsequently checked with Currys who support some of our tech who confirmed it's a scam

Phoned at 7.15 a.m. claiming to be from Amazon, regarding £49 taken from my account. I asked what information she had about me... She disconnected.
Got called twice by this number, the first was ignored, however 6 hours later I received a call from the same number. Answered by “hello” an automated Beep activated and a robotic “goodbye” came along and the call disconnected. No idea what it means, I suppose a potentially scam or fraud number.
