Information Sales call SCAM - A chap called David called stating he had been asked by the Madrid courts to contact me regarding a Timeshare case which was being represented for me by a company in Spain. He stated this company had been found guilty and his company could get my money back for a 10% fee of monies recovered. 01217815070. SCAM. This was a nice sounding girl who was asking about a car accident that was not my fault. I asked who their company was and they didn t respond. When they repeated themselves was with the same tone and internation which showed to me that this was a recorded message. It was obviously someone pressing buttons to get you to answer their questions. When I caught their process (proud I realised this so quickly) and asked them to remove me from their records they hung up on me.

DO NOT ANSWER - Scam call from an Asian call centre, openly admitting to charging a premium rate for connecting your call. They begin the conversation stating they are a government scheme aimed at helping pay back loans etc. I received racial abuse from the caller while trying to get information out of him. Have checked all phone records to see if any charges have come through but none as yet, but am unaware if the included minutes have covered this somehow. BLOCK & REPORT.

I got this number today,but didn t answer, and just got office background noise on the answer machine. This is despite only having changed my landline number a couple of weeks ago (because of many such scamming and harassment calls).I went ex directory and only let a few friends know the new number. How on earth did these scumbags manage to get the new number, and does anyone know if contacting Fraud Alert will help?

Yet again they have called. Do you remember us . Yes, I thought, as if you have read my other comment on them you will know I know them. They wanted to get me my petrol voucher but it was such a messed up call, reeling all this stuff off. I thought I m not getting involved again. I put the phone down.
Amazon scam. Recorded message tells me I have ordered an Apple Ipad through Amazon and to press 1 if I want to cancel so I did as I like to string them along. All I got was a repeat of the message. What a strange scam if they don't even have the opportunity to get any information!

they called me twice no caller id claiming to know the last four digits of my card, part of my address (which was wrong) and saying i made a transaction on the weekend which i did not, they sent me a code and it said to add my card to their apple pay, so obviously they were trying to take my credit card details and commit fraud on my account, they kept saying im verified my identity they then went silent when i said ill call my bank, called bank and they said yep my account is secure and that was a phising.

Told me I d applied for a loan, I hadn t! Refused to give his details or tell me where he had got my number from. He was very rude demanding I agreed to applying for a loan and that I wanted one! I asked to speak with manager stating I believed fraud was being commited in my name. He said he was the manager and promptly hung up on me. Don t answer calls from this number, not a pleasant experience.
