This number keeps calling me & i'm in France, have NOT answered
I had a call from this number offering a new boiler for £17 per month. Pressed 5 and ‘Shona’ asked “how may I help you ?” I said “Hello Shona, before we start could you tell me who you are and how you got my number?” she said “err, no!” and hung up.

If you google who called it comes up with Imperial College London (which is suspicious because thats all you get - not the usual list of find out who called companies! AVOID

Asian male, very aggressive, calling from Brummie Refunds, Birmingham. Trying to con ppl into PPI refunds. Hardly spoke English, probably shipped in on the back of the lorry and working for £1 an hour. Caller shouted everything, "I sign you up, I sign you up!!" Very intimidating. The government needs lynching for allowing this to happen.

This number rings me daily, but when I answer the call is immediately disconnected.
I have not answered to these people. Not once. Yet, they call at least weekly. I ve got a years line rental with BT paid for up-front, which allows me to block 99% of unwanted calls (with a BT blocker phone purchased separately, in case anyone was wondering). This caller would likely be asking to speak with Mr Strevitt or Mr Gwendoline. As has been the nature of the calls for the past 3 years. had a call pre-recorded call from this number claiming someone was trying to carry out a transaction for £900 from my Visa Debit Card (not specific about which one) and asking to confirm if it was me. Seems dodgy.
This is from Lloyd s Fraud line first time they rung i didn t believe it was them as they had given me a 3 numbered code and told me to phone another number. Later that night they phoned back again and this time asked for my date of birth and then listed off the details of my last spending habits for me to say if it was actually me.
Potential scam. There was a recorded message supposedely from my internet service provider (although it didn't say which ISP they were calling on behalf), saying that our internet service would be disconnected in 4 hours due to 'Router Malfunction'. Our router is working fine. I suspect this is a 'Technical Support Scam', where we would be expected to pay for fixing something that isn't broke.

SCAM Claimed to be from Virgin Media, said they'd detected an abnormality in my broadband speed and asked me to provide details of my modem. I asked if I could have a contact number to call them back on to confirm they were genuinely from Virgin Media, and they instantly hung up.

SCAM / SPAM Got an automated call from this number which said sky was being suspended due to fraudulent activity and to press 1 to continue using their services. I hung up and checked with sky and they did not make the call
When I answered the call a man said he was calling from a security company which installed alarms etc - I said I was not interested and he said ok and I switched off phone. It was to my mobile number which I have only given to friends and family - cannot understand how I am now getting calls on this phone mainly from phones which appear to be in the North of England. Lots of times no-one answers but equally I do not answer most of them as presume they are scams

This number had called (harassed) me over the last 2 days about making a claim for injuries they have all my details including my occupation and where I work , they insisted I was the one to ring them and when I stated I didn't want to make a claim they would shout at me asking why and then would hang up , please ignore this number its is a scam "claims management company" does not exist

SCAM Call Themselves 'Domestic Appliances'. Phoned numerous times, totally ignore Telephone Preference Service as they have been told I have registered for this service. They have no information on my appliance as it was fitted by friend who runs a business in this market. It is a marketing company trying to sell something (of what use I don't know). DO NOT EVEN ENTERTAIN THEM. THEY ARE THERE TO RIP YOU OFF. PUT THE PHONE DOWN ASAP.
