Got called today by a female with a Scouse voice stating that she was form "Fresh Contacts" and asking if I am been in an accident. Funnily enough (and the truth, but may use this excuse even so if it changes for me) I don t drive, so I told her this and then she proceeded to ask if I had been a passenger in an accident or if I had been on public transport. None of this was true, these are scam calls, she mentioned that my details were on the "National Accident Database", which may I add- does not exist. Bl

Multiple, daily calls regarding payment protection insurance, which I have never purchased. Pre-recorded message. Pressing 9 for automated opt-out has no effect. Extremely persistent and annoying.

I was visiting my very old uncle when these people called and I pretended to be my uncle. They said that Age Concern had selected them to contact people with mobility problems, and asked if I was sleeping well. They suggested that replacing the mattress would help with mobility problems, and said that they had quality orthopedic mattresses on special offer starting at £1500. Very rude - sounded like the consultant was at a rave trying to get my business - well that certainly is not happening - I don t trust this scam - reported them to the police as the person who I was speaking to told me that she gets paid cash in hand.
