Some depressed and dejected sounding indian fellow saying something about a discounted iphone or some nonsense, as per standard procedure I frustrated his efforts and wasted his time until he hung up.
This number called my mobile. I did not answer, but wanted to check the number out first. there was no bad report on the number. when I tried to return the call there was no answer then a "click" in the line and a message that the "other person had hung up". this makes me think it s somebody trying to sell you something nobody wants
I didn t catch the beginning of the message stating the caller (even when it was repeated) but understood that that an order for collection had been delayed for 24 hours. After checking this site (and hearing from my daughter that she had received an email from M&S with the same details) I can confirm this number is currently for M&S

Fraud - Number is definitely NOT from the Russian Federation - It is a UK based mobile number running on the EE network. When answered, a very bad automated message advising that there has been fraud on your National Insurance Number. All assets will be suspended and you will be arrested! SCAM Must be a scam this number randomly called me today. Automated voice saying it was HM revenue & customs claiming that there was a fraud case in my name that I needed to press 1 to speak to the officer on the case. That if I didn't sort it then I'd be arrested shortly. Load of bollacks if you ask me didn't bother pressing 1 & hung up straight away soon as the automated voice got out what it was obviously programmed to say.
