This company rings repeatedly, with recorded message. When you get through to an advisor, they word their pitch carefully to give the impression that they work for a government department. They refuse to give their address and the phone they give does not ring. Obviously bunch of con men.
i receive at least 6 calls per day from this number very irritating.

they rang me this morning and asked to speak to a MR,S C....... I said i dont know anyone by the name of Ess. She tried tried to explain that S was the initial and not the name. I explained to her not to ring me if she dosnt know who shes talking to, and she even had the gaul to try to make me answer security questions first,haha. I politely told her not to ring me again and told her to P-Off but i did explain what the initial P stood for. She did then say she would remove my number from her list. hopefully
Waste of time. They call for a survey and they say you that you can win some prize. I think it isn t true at all. Just blocked after several calls.
Missed call. Unrecognised number. But received on a mobile that I rarely use and very rarely give out my number since I am not allowed to have it on me at work!

01244 521272 rang and a male with a foreign accent said hello my name is Michael calling from Technical Solutions Dept I told him I should not be receiving cold calls but he was talking over me so I disconnected the call. When I checked the number showing on my landline screen it flashed between International and 01244 521272 of which one is a code close to me and the number was the same as a company I have had recent dealings with which has a different area code. Very strange probably a scam.
Fraud - Recorded message stating there was a tax fraud in my name and I needed to press 1 to be connected to HMRC. If I did not press 1 it threatened that a warrant would be issued and I would be arrested. I did not press 1 as felt this was not an appropriate way for HMRC to contact people in relation to this type of matter.

Automated call saying they are your internet service provider and they have detected illegal activity and will suspend the service....then there are options, press 1 for this, 2 for that.......stopped listening and terminated the call. Over the last two days, have received several calls all from different mobile numbers saying the same thing.

Got a call today from a foreign woman claiming to be from "Consumer Lifestyles" asking me to do a survey on my "lifestyle" ie shopping habits, likes and dislikes, all the usual crap to illicit personal details from you and even how to stop unwanted calls!! Asking to confirm my address details which I refused to confirm yet the caller was very pushy and continued in his persuit for this information. My wife answered. Foreign male called asking to speak to XXX. No security questions asked. Claimed he was from Microsoft. When told we were on TPS, he became argumentative. He clearly hadn't heard of TPS. When asked to remove our details from their database he became aggressive and said he would disconnect our phone at our address. He knew our address because he read it out! He then put the phone down when I said in the background we were connecting to the police.
