Calls once a day and doesn't speak
Caller asked me also to confirm if I was receiving a high volume of telemarketing calls, and that he could help. Fealing un easy I said call me back in 5 mins after I could check him out. Found this thread immediately blocked the number on my Pro Call Blocker box i found on ebay for ?25.

Fraud - Recorded message stating there was a tax fraud in my name and I needed to press 1 to be connected to HMRC. If I did not press 1 it threatened that a warrant would be issued and I would be arrested. I did not press 1 as felt this was not an appropriate way for HMRC to contact people in relation to this type of matter.
This number has called repeatedly for months now. Alarm bells ring for me as there are no 01769 (South Molton) numbers which begin with a '7', so I do not answer.

Fraud Just got a call from this number it was a recorded message telling me about unusual activity on my account i.e Amazon £300.00 and another one for £1000.00. Hence I hung up.

This horrible number made unsolicited nuisance calls to my number in Erith, Greater London as there is no way of identifying the company so I can report them to the Information Commissioner.

Got a call from someone today claiming to be from trada even though we do not have regular dealings with them and they have no reason to call. Came up as international then with an obvious spoof copycat area number. Glasgow isn t international if you are in Scotland. Not a problem- now blocked all international numbers using call blocker. Phone is on do not disturb 24/7 so if you aren t recognised then you don t get through. Heads I win, tails I win.
