SCAM Seems to be a call center as noisy line. Tried to obtain bank details etc under false pretences, alleging an engineer from BT has detected problems on my home landline and that without rectification I could incur £+ costs but if remedial action is taken quickly charges may be reduced. Medicare partnership calling people over 60 to sell them the home alarm systems (pendant fall alarms). I am horrified that they call like that vulnerable people trying to sell them a lifeline. The implication being they are the only supplier. They use the sweetner of a free system (if you qualify), Not happy at all!

Number pretends to be HMRC calling about tax fraud registered against my name. Automated call, threatens you with imminent arrest if you hang up or don't press 1. Once you press one, a very deep Asian sounding accent answers and asks you for your details. Which they should have since they claim to have opened a case against you.
