Silent call Called me, I accepted the call and waited for a geeting. Caller hung up after saying nothing.

A couple of years ago I had all my windows replaced by Crystal windows, got several calls from them asking if I needed any further work doing on the house, I said no and please remove my number and stop calling me, i m still getting calls from them. don t give them your phone number I wish I hadn t.

This number rang today but hung up part way through the answerphone message. After reading comments here and elsewhere, I rang and asked for our number to be removed from their database. The guy I spoke to was happy to do this and also happy to tell me that the third party from whom they receive numbers is Communications Avenue. Looks like these are the people we should really be shutting down. A quick Googke shows that they re based in Newark.

Had a call from this number earlier asking me about the car accident I had and that they d been informed by the RTA association. THE WHO? I ASKED The Road traffic accident association she said. Oh okay so what did they tell you I asked. She said It s about the accident. What one I said as I ve had three this month already. Oh we have only been informed about the first one she said. ThIs company - I don't know who they are - keep phoning from various numbers all beginning with *01527*. I block one, another one calls. I block the new one and yet ANOTHE...

Obviously a call center, some one with an Indian accent with the name of Paul from a company called BTC, didn't give him much chance to say anything else before I hung up,,...

Did not recognise the number so did not answer. No message left on answer m/c

Of course it's a scam. Internet providers do not phone you (unless you have asked them to do so).
