I'm an individual counsellor and this person 'Jack' texted me during my Christmas holiday. He pretended to be a client at first, and I responded in case he was a potential client in need. He then attempted to sell me his "automated systems to attract more counselling clients". I hate spammers who prey on therapists' good natures, and who disrespect our vacation boundaries. Don't fall for this.

A woman with Asian accent claiming to be from my banks fraud department

01992 466466 called. Automated voice saying that it was from the fraud department and that £900 pound was being taken out of my account for a visa debit payment. Had so many of these defo fraud.

Cold-calling scam regarding "financial market investments", likely based overseas as the caller's proferred name did not seem to correlate with their accent. Nervous laughter and unconvincing denial from the caller when accused of being a scammer and asked if they were based in Kolkata. Avoid.

Caller says you've suspicious transactions on your card, knows your name and last four digits of the card. Asks you to check the balance, in my case without any security questions. Hung up on me and didn't call me back when I told him I keep very little in the account, whilst I was silently checking the account in the background. SCAM I've also received a dodgy looking CTSI letter from an Oscar Reed. I called the genuine CTSI number from their website and they didn't recognise this number as one of their own.

Spam caller. No one was on the line, instead, it was an automated message saying it is HMRC and that legal action will be processed.

Scam call. Pretends to be from O2 offering half price bills. As soon as you say you're not with O2, it hangs up. Local London number but poor quality/routed phone line.

Scam call - voice message said it was a call from my bank security department but didn't say what bank it was.

Bank scam. A recorded message from "bank security" telling you some large amount of money had been transferred from your bank account. You are suggested to press "1" for further information and certainly, have your money stolen when you give your bank details. Beware!!!!!!!

This was an automated call about a charge for Amazon Prime membership that had expired. I don't currently have an Amazon Prime membership, so this was almost certainly a scam call.
