Asking for personal information - probable scam

This number called twice. I answered both times but no-one spoke. As the no. didn t correspond to any in my address book, I checked it out with you. Will now block number but concerned as to how they got my number in the first place, and hope they are not able to access my contact details in the phone.

Two calls within minutes of each other and when I told them I was not interested I was asked why I had bothered to get solcar panels Not a nice company

Number used as scam claiming to be Hughes insurance.

Received a call from a member of 'Talktalk' who 'tried' to scam me yet again! As soon as I mentioned the word 'scam' he hung up.

PHONE RINGS, YOU ANSWER, THEY BREAK THE CALL. THIS TYPE OF COMPANY SHOULD BE BANNED. JUST PLAIN BLOODY ANNOYING.

Note we have TPS but this number called. We answered to a foreign woman. Couldn't understand a word, although the word Survey was apparent. Politely rejected call.

Called today, asked for me by name (worrying as he said he got my number from price comparison sites, not possible as I always give 999999etc) said he was phoning to overhaul my life insurance .I have been registered with TPS and ex directory for decades.

I ve just had a call from this number. They said that as I had been involved in a road accident my case had been referred to them. As I had a car accident in the last week my insurance company had referred me to an injury claim solicitor (one who does a lot of advertising on TV) so I thought this was them until I was passed to a supervisor who then proceeded to say "I understand you have been involved in an accident in the last two years". Will spend over a hour with you on the phone getting you to check your internet security, but while you are doing this they are hacking into your internet and taking all the money from your bank and putting it into a western union account! They cleared my bank account

Who was the caller?

THis company called me and said a member of my family had been involved in a car crash. I asked could this be my mum, who had driven me to work this morning and then gone home, but wouldn t give me more information, or even tell me if she was ok. Eventually they said that she hadn t been in an accident and it was a sales call. Disgusting.

Called fishing for bank account details while pretending to be from a tv insurance company. Put the phone down on me when i wouldn't confirm the bank details.
